By accessing the BitSwype website, or using any BitSwype products or services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit a deposit.
1. About BitSwype
BitSwype, LLC (“BitSwype,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an Illinois limited liability company developing a non-custodial hardware debit card designed to enable spending of self-custodied Bitcoin via air-gapped PSBT signing.
The BitSwype card is currently in development and has not yet been released to the general public.
2. Product Status & Waitlist
The BitSwype card is currently in development and has not yet been released to the general public.
We are accepting interest through a waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not constitute a paid order or guarantee product availability, pricing, or delivery timelines.
Any future purchase options, pricing, and shipping details will be communicated directly to waitlist participants when the product is ready.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Estimated availability and shipping timelines will be provided when the product launches. All timelines are estimates only and may be adjusted based on manufacturing, regulatory, or operational factors.
BitSwype will make commercially reasonable efforts to keep waitlist participants informed of progress.
4. Non-Custodial Nature of the Product
BitSwype is a non-custodial solution.
- We do not hold, control, or access your Bitcoin
- You retain full responsibility for your private keys, wallets, and funds
- Loss of keys or funds is solely your responsibility
BitSwype cannot recover funds, reverse transactions, or access your wallet under any circumstances.
5. No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice
BitSwype is not a bank, money transmitter, or investment advisor.
Nothing on this website or in BitSwype materials constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Risks
Use of BitSwype involves risks, including but not limited to:
- Cryptocurrency price volatility
- Regulatory uncertainty
- Technical failures or limitations
- Changes in card networks or partners
You acknowledge and accept these risks by using the site.
7. Third-Party Partners
BitSwype relies on third parties for certain services, including but not limited to:
- CompoSecure (card manufacturing)
- Chetu (software development)
BitSwype is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or failures of third-party partners.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BitSwype shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to:
- Use or inability to use the product
- Delays or failure of delivery
- Loss of funds or access
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or participation in the constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
